With the spring season likely gone, this is going to make the current problem of referee shortages much worse. More elderly refs are going to retire and right now there are no new referees coming in to replace them. And the with so many people losing their jobs right now, most will not have the money to lay out to take the referee courses, get the background checks and to buy the uniforms and equipment.

I wouldn't worry. There are PLENTY of referees on the sidelines at EVERY game regardless of the age group.

All the Best Refs no longer do it because the Pay is Sh$t!!! No more cash games. So a u18 middle that was $70 is now $55 tanks to taxes. It’s awful and the mass Ref committee is a bunch of self centered idiots!!!!! I know that the best Refs in the south no longer ref. That is LD, BS, GL, just to name a few.

Best coaches are at, Feehan, Natick, KP, Whitman Hanson, Winchester.
If you aren’t at these schools then I’m sorry but your coach and team are losers.
