I couldn't agree more. We need to have faith in Gotsoccer points and the algorithm that sets the rankings. Gotsoccer rankings are as much about consumer confidence as the stock market. How can we truly believe in the health of our soccer culture without fair and balanced rankings? How can we accurately value my kid's team's strong first place finish in the fourth division (South) of the GPS Snow Out Tournament without trustworthy allocation of points? Some of these other ranking sites are playing up the problem just to settle scores and are full of haters and never-Gotsoccer types. We can't let the cure be worse than the disease. The only way we return to normalcy is to value the important things--like Gotsoccer points--so I fully expect we'll be back to a full slate of events by Easter. -
