A few years ago one of the angry soccer moms did a very detailed report of DAP starters/subs that showed Bolts were rock bottom in terms of non-starters playing time. Chosen 7 get 90 minutes, other dozen fight for scraps but bench boys are NOT developing. This all comes from BA, basically admitting non-dev. Someone else pointed out they rostered 14 for that game so if the extra 3 aren't good subs just because of bad luck that day, what does a coach do?

I'm ok if my kid is yelled at for doing something wrong as long as they teach them how to fix what they are doing wrong. If a kid keeps doing it then sit him/her until they figure it out. If another kid does the same thing wrong then yell at both kids, not just one.Comment

Bolts provide a pathway that few clubs can match (NEP--> ECNL--> Academy). But the problem is that the coaching is sub-par (there are a few good coaches but not a high enough percentage for a club of this size). ECNL is a joke...Bolts are so watered down that the ECNL teams usually lose to the NPL Super Group teams and ECNL travel isn't worth it.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
