Rumor has it that the posted coaching line up is already changing. KC will now coach the 11's. Either the 13's are falling apart beyond repair or Kate just doesnt have the expected pull to avoid exodus at the 11's.

Can people really be following the 2 clowns?

Try outs this week will certainly prove interesting.

Did anyone else get the epic email?? Great until page 7 or 8.

Can't imagine that all kids that don't show at tryouts go to NEFC. Turmoil isn't good for the Scorps and its not going to be all roses for NEFC either.

Are you talking about the current 11's and 13's or next years 11's and 13's (current 10's/12's)?

My guess is the above post is a troll who is trying to stir up trouble the day of tryouts. Say what you want about the Scorps but they are not going to change coaches unannounced before tryouts. People dont like them because of success. Say what you want about management and organization but there is noone in Mass, aside from Stars, who can shake a stick at the players they have developed and the success of their teams.

And please do not respond that BB was the reason. Long before Boates someone else was in charge of the youth academy and he is there again. BB benefited fro mthe work FM did before him. When you walk into a successful club it is easy to keep it going strong. FM started Scorps and made it what it is today.

Before people respond with thanks Fred or Keith. I am someone whose daughter is now playing college soccer. Played for Fred long ago and just think it is funny that he gets bashed. He was tough on my daughter but she still considers him her best coach because of what he demanded. Maybe that is the reason he has won and BB and PM have nothing on their resume for success.

According to another post, they are 3rd with teams still in SC

He didnt start it as I understand. Jim Ulithor (sp?) from Duxbury actually founded it, again as I heard from a few sources. Fred got involved and took it from there.

Jack Ullathorne was with the club South Coast. Fred Marks had a team with Galway Rovers at U10, and formed the Scorpions Soccer Club with that group and others as U11's about 10 years ago. That was the first Scorpions team. Scorpions and South Coast merged a two years after and became the South Coast Scorpions. South Coast had a fairly big and successful club. I think Ullathorne was ready to get out of the club scene. The Scorpions first 2 teams were pretty successful, and the merger added to an already up and coming club and made the Scorpions the "destination club" on the South Shore.

if it was the destination club, why are there still clubs on the South Shore?

I just want to know when the Womens College Coach will be annouced. I guess since it's a Premier team, no one too exciting.

She's from the University of Phoenix, the online college. Virtual coaching, it's the new thing.

Is Jack Ullathorne still coaching? He was my coach when I was in middle school several years ago. He was a great coach!
