Weymouth plays to make the tournament, not win it. They need to keep their streak alive.

Oh I couldn’t agree more. The streak is impressive but it’s been years since they had legit teams. 2012 was the second best team in the state. Even with Needham. 2010 was also good but fell short in PKs. 2007 was the best under the new coach and they lost in the emass finals to Framingham in PKs. It seems like their isn’t as much talent coming through the system and the coach is just trying to piece it all together and get them in the tournament and make them hard to knock out.

The south essentially has three teams
Needham.........strong but falls apart with a good defense
          Silver Lake.......weak schedule
Wellesley.........coming on strong in the latter half of the season

The north is loaded with any of these four making the final
Newton North....strong from front to back. ? healthy?
          Brookline..........good skills but ? scoring
LS....................good skills and plays well but a little selfish
ConcCarlisle......strong team....could be the top team
Somerville........not sure how they got this record. Weak team

It seems D1 South Bracket still can move around a lot with maybe some coin flips

              no more flips

There are no more coin flips unless they can't settle the tie with the 1st 4 tiebreakers. Its head to head, if that does not solve it, it goes to wins....then league champion, then something else...then the coin flip.

Couldn’t agree more. The next two days a lot of movement to be expect. Pretty much everyone plays today except Franklin and Silver Lake. Wellesley could jump to 4 if Needham loses. 6-13 is a mess and will change numerous times the next two days.

So norwell, maybe not as good as people gave them credit for and Marshfield proving they can be a tough out?
