My son plays on FC USA and loves it. Great coaches and club. The cape team practices and plays at CC Academy in Marston Mills. Nice facilities. When the need to go indoors, they play up in Plymouth Sports Plex off rt 3, exit 5.
It's worth the drive to come off the Cape. Most people feel the Cape is where soccer goes to die.
Soccer really goes to die inside of 95 around boston. Anything south or west of that s-hole is where the real talent lies. The further east you go the worse it gets. SSS is your best option in that part of the state, if you don't mind a bit of a drive.

This is the funniest post of the year. Newbie parent.

Funny because you can't admit its true. Get outside your elitist bubble and pay attention to where the best players are developed. Paying for club doesn't mean you kid is good, just means your check doesn't bounce

If by elitist bubble you mean the area of MA that produces the better talent, then why would I?
I've seen 1,000's of kids play across 4 different age groups with my boys.
I've rarely been impressed with South Coast or Cape players. All of my sons played for teams that routinely used Western United for punching bags.
Don't even get me started with Aztecs, or Seacoast. Doormats.
Back to original question, interview and have your kids try out differnt clubs before making your choice. Any of these clubs will let you jump into a practice session or two. The right fit is different for every body.

What am I missing?
Pick an age group and a team, any combination.
Point taken- Boys may be different and we can both agree Western United is terrible as well as Seacoast and Aztecs...even for girls. My observation is that most of the female talent does not come from anywhere near Boston, may be different on boys side.
My daughter plays for FCUSA. We’ve liked the club as parents. It’s convenient and affordable. My kid likes it too...and no, she’s not going pro and probably not playing in college but it’s been fine for her!
The national team players from Select would disagree, as would the dozens of other uber talented girls that club pumps out.
Are you saying select is inside of 95? Think the point was Boston and surrounding towns, despite the population density, spits out very few good players and even less competitive teams SSS is a good club, especially at the younger age groups
