Ok dad I’m glad you are finally on a decent team. Calm down. They have a few very good players. I’m pretty sure I know who you are and your son isn’t one of them. You shouldn’t talk on the sideline and then go post same stuff on TS. The best talent is spread all over like the prior poster said. They played **** teams in NEFC tournament and they played the equivalent of MA DA in Florida which isn’t impressive. I have no doubt they could beat the Bolts or Revs. So could most top 2001 teams. Sit back and enjoy the bench.

1 MA DA Team only ,1 Ecnl on a two or 4 yr cycle between clubs ,keep NPL and Nep as is.

Sorry, but in order to maintain quality, there has to be competition. Perfect example, look at the poor quality of the Revs program and how complacent the club is toward their academy. Not that results are everything, but pay-to-play Bolts DA is ranked above the FREE Revs in two of the three age groups that keep standings.

I imagine after the poor results this year, any quality players on the Revs will be looking elsewhere to play (Bolts/Seacoast or Private school + high level club/ECNL). Revs will be forced to make a change to the program soon, or face further embarrassment as they draw fewer and fewer talented players. You can imagine things would not have sunk this low had there been another free DA program in the area. Obviously, more than two teams in MA would simply water down the competition level, but there needs to be at least one alternative so that the clubs will put in some effort to retain talent.

While I agree with your premise, your first mistake was thinking that the Revs cared. They don't. Not about the MLS team and certainly not about DA.
