why wuold that many 07s be 26 grads? Most teams have maybe 1 or two December kids who were the rare trapped player.

Sept Oct Nov and Dec are all trapped players. Each team’s birth month distribution varies but 33% +\- of all kids in general.

Is there a way to see how many full athletic scholarships a program has to offer? I know they slice and dice them with other aid. I’m just curious to see how funded some programs are.

It's buried in the Common Data Set, a compilation of data for all schools. Just Google that and the school name. However a general rule is there is a men's football team a women's soccer team will have 14.

My daughter is younger and isn’t an 07 player. With that said this seems to be the most experienced group of parents on here so I’m looking for some help. It’s close but I do not think my daughter will make the blue national team so I’m not planning on having her even tryout. I have to decide if she should tryout for the white national or blue regional team. Is one choice clearly better than the other? I assume playing on the white national team would be the better option but I’ve been told that might not always be the better option. Is there a clear answer to this question?

If “most experienced” you mean obsessive and mentally unstable then yes you are in the right place

It does matter. The White team generally plays better soccer than the RL teams. But not always by much.

It may depend on existing players at player’s position and whether player will get playing time. With 22-25 on the roster, a lot of players on these teams don’t get much PT.

True, but to the point where White struggles to score a goal. 2007 14 games, 10 losses, 13 GF, 33 GA. 2008 14 games, 14 losses, 7 GF, 45 GA. Is that better for development?

Playing stronger teams is better for soccer development. Trashing weaker teams isnt good for development either. Emotionally a losing season can be a different story. But kids keep joining and keep getting recruited.

Only one 2007 white player recruited. Am I missing something? Half of blue still isn’t recruited either.
