The Girls 2007 Thread

It’s pretty well known that Stars is just looking for roster fillers at this point, so it is appealing to exactly no players.

People stopped buying into that hype a while ago

Start of the season is rapidly approaching. Looks like there are several strong 2007 teams. Top four teams to watch are probably:

NEFC Central Elite Red
SSS U11 AP
Spirit of Liverpool Elite
GPS Boston Elite Red

Will FC Boston, FC Stars, Aztec or Valeo have teams who can keep pace with the top four?

First action for these teams will likely be at FC Stars Labor Day tournament with the NEP season starting the week thereafter.

Happy 6 year anniversary to the best soccer thread in the history of earth!

Let’s recap the last 6 years. NEFC & SSS ruled the day for U11 & U12. The list & “baddest little team in all the land” have been the heart and soul of this thread.

By U13 the bigger clubs started consolidating regions and SPOL, Bayside, Liverpool, etc. started falling behind. NEFC was top dog. Stars & Scorpions were in recruiting mode.

U14 was by far the most competitive year between SSS, Stars Blue & White, NEFC & Scorpions. Lot of great, close games.

In the most ruthless move in the history of the Girls 2007 thread, Stars Blue torpedoed its entire team (almost) at the end of U14. NEFC circled the wagon, but lost some players to Blue, as did SSS, Aztec & others.

Stars Blue parents were out in force all of U15. Best team ever assembled!!!!! The sniping on here was next level. Grab your popcorn!!! Blue made champions league and NEFC lost a 1-0 heartbreaker to FCV in the GA finals. Great run by both teams.

U16 was another competitive year, but none of the MA teams did as well as U15, Showcases & recruiting became the focus, but the list still lived on!

And of course all the B.S.! The DA & ECNL battled for market share at the expense of our players, the DA is no more and the GA has filled the void.

GPS! Where do we even start with that one? Hello Surf & Juventus (sort of). Special thanks to The mom who never learns, the obnoxious Blue parents, the poor white parents, NEFC dad, Aztec dad, the guy who bashed Select non-stop, the loser coaches who creep on here and most importantly our awesome players for all these teams who have been so amazing to watch over the last 6 years.

On to U17! Got to go sort through scholarship offers from all the power 5 schools now. C-Ya!!
