I was looking at 2007 roster sizes for the GA & ECNL teams:
Stars White- 21
Stars Blue- 20
Scorpions- 20
NEFC- 19
if the game day limit is 18, how is this handled? Couple years younger than 2007, but looks like roster size increases as the girls get into HS ages.

Thank you. Is it the same 1-3 players sitting every week, or does it rotate? And if so what’s it based upon, practice performance for the week?

This is not the case at showcases (games don’t count in league standings). Everyone plays as close to equal time as possible. Still can only dress 18 per game, but it would never be the same players sitting for an entire showcase (unless they opted to stay home).
Also—by the HS ages, injuries tend to increase, so there will likely be situations where there are only 18 (or fewer) healthy.

It never happened, injuries and conflicts fixed the problem organically. I’ll also disagree on showcase games getting equal time, I’ve seen some pretty unbalanced time. Some games coaches are playing to win more than others. They may start a game with good intentions but its certainly not a given your D will get 50% of every game

But yes this is about performance. Players should get meaningful PT but do not ever expect equal. Starting and PT is earned. If your kid can't deal with that they're never going to survive playing in college

Same with GKs. They need to tell college coaches when they can be seen. College coaches rarely stay for a exile game. They have too many other players to see.
