The complex where SUSA plays is freezing cold and windy in April and May. Nevermind going there in February. It is a stupid place to hold an event. Somehow, even more stupid than the Penn Fusion showcase which is also freezing cold and awful.

All that extra body fat should insulate you just fine while you complain from the sideline.

That is a great group. Of um….the New England ECNL conference who will be playing each other in 3 weeks.

You just admitted that NEFC belongs in the NE ECNL conference. I happen to agree.

I doubt this is true, I couldn’t find anything accept a list of accepted team on the SUSA site. In addition, why would Stars, Scorps or even SUSA sign up for this? They would want to play different teams, not the local teams they work hard to avoid (and NEFC avoids them too) or teams in their league. This seems more hopeful than truthful

Don’t know what the schedule is, but who else should these teams be playing at this event? I’d rather drive down there to play other top teams then avoid them just because league games are coming up and instead play 3 weak teams.

These are showcase games. Stars Blue v. NEFC or Scorpions v. SUSA will draw more college coaches than playing games against NY Rush West Premier.

As a parent I’m not disagreeing….shoot, do it here and call it a New England showcase. NEFC played and 2 ECNL teams and a DPL (Maybe) team last year. Im guessing Stars and Scorps could play LISC, SYracuse, and or NYSC. Some combination of clubs that aren’t on their current schedule. I don’t think the bracket will determine if coaches show or not, if they are interested they will make the drive

                      LISC & NYSC aren’t registered at 2007.

It will depend on how many teams are in the top bracket, they will likely try to divide the NE ECNL teams to play the GA or other teams in the top. Either way it should be great cometition, just need to cross fingers on the weather holding out.

So how will NEFC do against the ECNL teams?

they are equal to most ECNL teams in the northeast

We’ve been down to SUSa a few times, it’s really hard to get a feel for the quality. It’s been COLD and often times super windy, it’s early in the year and some of these kids haven’t played in anger for 4 months. I wouldn’t make to many claims based on any single weekend, especially one in February.
