…. Select looks to be the better addition after this weekend…

Wake up? It’s not about whose team wins more at U16. The conversation has shifted to college. All these girls will be fine. Time to let it go, dad. Wake up.

There’s only one club/team that consistently commits 90-100% of players to D1 each year—Stars Blue. After that, NEFC, Select, Scorpions and White have similar numbers. Ecnl has a definite advantage over GA in terms of overall exposure. Regardless of the league and team, kids who target correctly will be the most successful in the recruiting game.

I am one of the biggest proponent of pointing out the differences in the Attending Coaches Lists but even I have to assume that GA List is incorrect.

It is incorrect. The North East AZ Community Collage coach forgot he has a dentist appointment, so he can’t attend.

I am sure you think you’re making a point here but this just makes me cringe. So many of these schools have acceptance rates of 80% or higher. Send your kids to school for an education, not so you can brag they played D1 soccer. I would be embarrassed if my kid attended college at well over half of the D1 schools here. But hey “D1 or bust!”

I don’t see any high-academic D3’s, Ivies or any decent school other than Vanderbilt on the GA list.

I see Babson, Carnegie Mellon, Colby, Columbia, Wellesley and others on the ECNL list (everyone must not be D1 or bust). Pretty sure BU, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Princeton, UPenn, U of Miami, Notre Dame, Michigan don’t have 80% acceptance rates.

Your response would be kind of funny if it wasn’t so sad…

The event is this weekend…. I assume that this is the list kids would use to email coaches ahead of time, so if it’s wrong, that’s a huge miss by GA.

Imagine traveling to AZ for that? Parents should be asking questions.

Many of them have a high acceptance rate. Obviously not all. The list is cringy. We target schools outside of showcases that are academically appropriate for my daughter. No need to travel here to be seen by academically weak schools. It’s time to grow up soon and make choices based on things other than soccer. But hey. As long as your kid plays D1. She can apply to be my kids PA in a couple years with her degree worth less than the paper it’s printed on.
