Northeast soccer is mediocre. If your kid is good enough then move to a better soccer region. Because we are all 2nd class compared to some other regions.

Just stop. As someone posted earlier, you have 5 teams in the top 1/3 of the league. And if you consider NJ “the north east” then you can add in PDA Blue and Match Fit as well.

I’m pretty sure the mediocre PDA Blue team knocked off Solar, who is pretty good last I heard.

oh didn't realize feeder clubs for Blue, like select, owned all their girls and they aren't allowed to move to much more competitive league and better teams. I didn't get that memo. There is a HUGE difference playing very MEH GA as oppose to ECNL for Blue. Sorry you feel Select is on par with Blue, but the honest truth is they are not. Blue would never ever have goalies change on the fly during an ECNL game like Select did this spring. It's unheard of a supposed good GA team playing multiple field players in goal every game. How'd that work out for Select...not very well. Thankfully EU is still somehow miraculously in GA or that 07 Select team would be a strong candidate for last place.

UNC, Duke, Penn State, Clemson, UVA, BC, Miami, UConn, Princeton, UPenn, Fairfield, Stony Brook, etc. looks like Stars is doing a good job developing and placing kids at top schools across the country… at least that is clearly true over the last two years…
