so what you are saying is that STA , a supposedly a very good GA team in GA went 0-3 that weekend? So very competitive games as you say. Did STA get a participation trophy for keeping the games close? As much as it pained me to see Scorpions beat Blue in the spring I don't go around bragging that it was a "very competitive game". Blue lost and will try to get them next time.

The only thing that tourney displayed was that the top three ECNL teams in it were slightly better than the top two GA teams in it.

If Blue can't beat STA or NYSC by more than a single goal, you got no say comparing yourself to NEFC or SSS.

Let's recap that scores also aren't always reflective of the games themselves and obviously one age group/one game isn't reflective of all - but yeah losing 2-0 to Scorps isn't a good look

Yes, in fact I do. NEFC & SSS could be both Stars teams and Scorpions on any given game day.

last time they played late spring NEFC DOMINATED SSS 5-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Could have been 8-0 but NEFC subbed out early 2nd 1/2. Please don't post ridiculous statements. Maybe at U-11 it's a close game, but mother Teresa SSS is a shell of its former self.

Their BEST player is a 2009 and they lost both their 2 best goalies and are currently playing the 08 goalie.
