I’m impressed that NEFC has managed to stay competitive (on paper at least) where all the other little girl soccer super teams have crumbled and are now fighting it out in Impact NPL or whatever it is called this year. But I also won’t be surprised if the last few NEFC holdouts finally move to the dark side.

And yes we are bitter as hell.
Keep kids away. 2010 moms are a lot more apt to by JB a frappe from across the street.

This^^^.
I’m pretty sure half the people on this thread would fail a reading comprehension test.

Of course ECNL is the stronger league but that doesn't mean there aren't some good players or teams in GAL. If you were going to do GAL NEFC would be the only club to consider. Not all players can make an ECNL team, or have a decent ECNL team near them. College coaches know it and won't exclude a quality player from GAL.

Anyone that has watched any of the local teams play knows that stars is significantly better at the high school age groups. Additionally, look at the difference in the commitment lists of NEFC and Stars. It isn't even close - Stars has players going to Penn State, Michigan, UVA, Clemson, Princeton, in face basically all of the Ivys, and many other top schools. Every single player on the U19 team is committed division 1. It really isnt close between Stars and NEFC. NEFC and Scorps - sure that is close at the older age groups.

Look at Topdrawer club rankings, NEFC is higher than Stars but…stars plays in ECNL so they are better….according to you. Almost all clubs have a good team or two in an age group and one or two thats struggling. Undeniably ECNL is the better league but you are fooling yourself if you think Stars or Scorps are the only clubs worth playing for.

2007- Last 30 days
Scorpions 0- NEFC 0
Scorpions 0- Stars Blue 1
Scorpions 1- Stars White 0
Please, tell us how all these teams suck except for the team that your princess plays for.
“Well, the score could have been…”.
