Agreed, with individuals (esp GK’s) it really is best just not to make comments, the 08 thread had a wayward grandpa lead things into bad territory with rankings and stalkerish comments- even praise will end badly. I’d rather have psychopath Forza Juve spam than that.

08 thread is crazy! They also had a scorpions parent belittling one of their own goalies for not going to every practice on page 1 or 2 of the thread. That was very bad! That was a little crazy in my book, as well as grandpa select. Between scorpions dad and select grandpa the goalie thing needs to stop.

No one has said anything bad YET. Unfortunately, discussing individual players will lead to critiques of those players, even if they are meant to be constructive or instructive. It starts with something benign like, “I wonder how tall she’ll be” or “I hope she keeps working on her distribution skills” or “I thought she was really good as a shot stopper” and eventually morphs into something terrible. There will ultimately be questions or comments about her defense, her decision making, her athleticism, her intelligence and so on.

Don’t go there - ever.

You are so right. NEFC has just become a feeder system now. How quickly things change after listening to their obnoxious u-little parents brag for a few years how amazing NEFC 07 is. How is that working out now crazy NEFC parents????….NOT SO GOOD!!!!!!! Im betting NEFC wont even make the GAG playoffs next year and that is impossible to accomplish.

Did NEFC get a new goalie? That was kind of late for her to leave. Yes better opportunity but leaving NEFC in a bad situation.

What always happens: marginal ECNL players are pushed to ECNLr. Those players are pushed even lower, and the cycle repeats.

There's lots of trash on ECNL rosters that needs to be removed to justify the chest-thumping on here.
