dude you posted the score last night for us. We saw!! Don't get me wrong I enjoy seeing any Stars teams on the wrong end -it's beautiful - but I knew the score around 9:00pm from you but thanks anyway!

A month ago, yes. Too late now. There are lots of talented players out there from places other than Stars. The Scorpions team will be fine for next year.

Hopefully all the Stars girls find a good situation for themselves.

You really think that if a player shows up today at Scorpions looking for an ECNL spot and the coaches think it's an upgrade over a starter who just signed a contract that they are going to say "sorry, try again next year"??? That's not how any of this works.

You never know when a good player is going to move to town, decide to make soccer their #1 focus, etc. etc. and no coach is going to turn them away if they come knockin

Maybe at Stars. Was never like that at NEFC. But guess that’s why your teams are getting blown up. Some clubs actually set a reasonable roster limit and stick with the kids they have.

UNLESS it's a top 1,2,3 girl no chance the Scorpions takes her for a literal move for the team. If your daughter didn't make the move by U-15 her best bet is 1 of the Stars teams.

So let me get this straight. Your kid is getting cut from Stars Blue. You’ve never been to a Scorpions practice and didn’t go to the ID events. Plenty of other great players from SSS & NEFC and others clubs did both of those things. The roster for next year is set. $ has been paid.
But because your kid plays for Stars blue, you can just show up now and she will get a spot?

When there was an open roster spot? I bet they have. When the roster was already at 18? I bet they haven’t.

older age group, but my daughter had 22 kids on the roster in January, added 3 more and lost 1 to get to 24 by May. Literally sending 4+ kids (give or take based on injuries) down each weekend. Scorps have the most bloated rosters I've ever seen. They will literally take anyone, anytime, and happily demote your D, if it is an upgrade.
