Fact is they are offering the spots to players now and promising blue to 25-30 players.
Do tell how this happens then. They recruit, promise blue then come time for the season you are on ENCL Blue Regional? If the case, parents be warned....

Oh. Sorry the better team didn’t win. Better luck next year.

You may want to take off your rose-colored parent glasses on this one....

Blue and White are separate clubs per ECNl rules. If you take a spot on Blue and get bumped or cut the only place to go is Blue Regional. Same applies to White White and White Regional. Choose carefully.

Last year, Stars blue had half a dozen very good players leave because of the coach. The team could have been very good had the coaching situation been different. It’s too bad JD let JB run these players off. Good luck filling the gaps.

Well, yes, but let's be real, they had a couple of very good players leave because of the coach and had those players stayed nothing would have changed because they would have stagnated like the rest of them. The rest who left were not of the same caliber and plenty of good players joined the team and stayed. The biggest issue with the JB experiment is not the players who left (which is too bad) because at least in some cases they went on to coaches who could coach this age. The real problem is with the ones who stayed who now struggle to keep a roster spot vs kids coached by others.

Why is that? Were you at the game? Please tell me that it wasn't at a minimum an even game.

How will NEFC even be competitive if they lose 5-6 kids? They are obviously not blowing any local teams out of the water...or even beating them for that matter.

Obviously not a Stars parent. You are almost there, though. This is only true in season. We all sign 1 year contracts. For example, the “cuts” from Blue last year are playing for White and not Blue Regional. If you are referring to inflated roster sizes and kids that sit out playing with regional that’s something entirely different than being cut. And not something I’ve ever witnessed happen, to be honest.

NEFC's loss is Stars and Scorpions gains.

I was referring to in season: "if you take a spot on Blue and get bumped or cut.." With a roster exceeding the 18 player game day limit, and other kids who will inevitably join in season next year, there will be kids who will be sent to the regional team "for their development."

Look at NEFC DPL teams. They are a few very strong ones. Kids can move up. It is the nature of the beast. Other teams will be losing players too so it all balances out.

Why would you accept a spot on a team with more than 18? Parents, WAKE UP!
