I would say it’s more about thinking players want to move to ecnl. Some will absolutely move to ecnl. Sounds like you won’t which is fine too.

A lot of discussion about the superiority of the ECNL. From what I've observed, and how the Ma. teams do at the National level, not sure any of the Ma. Ecnl teams deserve to be in this league. The ECNL is great, the Ma. teams not so much.

The best players in the state all want to play in the ECNL. So they will eventually migrate to Stars and viola you now have the best team in the state for HS which is what happens every single year.

See, perfect example. Why not to Stars White, which is a better team right now? Or why not to Scorpions?

You could do either of those as well. Perfectly reasonable options. The attraction of Blue is that Stars tries to make Blue the top team. It usually works but not always. If you are rolling the dice - absent a known powerhouse white team (which we don't have at 07) - you go with Blue if you get the offer. Caveat: in the current case this assumes the "rumor" of a coaching change is true.

Or if you are not with Stars, you've know who the coach will be for about a month, since he is trying to recruit many players from outside of the club to displace the current Stars players.

Yes, but you do realize Stars has not actually communicated that to anyone. Yes, people "know" but only because it's been obvious he's interacting with the team and I heard it from someone, who heard it from someone, who heard it from GB's cousin that he's taking the team.
