Serious question
If an influx of NEFC, Aztec ect kids do make the move to ECNL and current players do get bumped would they rather switch to a different club or move down to regional?

Would not do regional. as another person posted, would prefer a stronger DPL or NPL/IMpact team closer to home. Still competitive but not being ripped off with false idea of ECNL

That’s before, when Stars had majority of talent. The 2007 teams are a prime example. Stars does not have all of the talent. Curious to see their commitments list over the next few years.

It must be stressful for the current players to constantly see other kids at practice. How can coaches focus on the team they have when others are constantly at practice and they are trying to recruit them?

Same with South Shore Select GA girls in Taunton.

The only difference is that South Shore Select and NEFC are pulling from lower division teams while Stars and Scorpions are pulling directly from GA teams.

Any word from the former dad known as NEFC dad???crickets! Has he become Stars Whitex2 dad now??????

normally it could for sure, but doubt it, because girls from the south shore will most likely not travel to Mendon.

As a Scorpions RL dad I'm so sick of all these players showing up to practice with the national team when the top players on our team don't get a sniff. I can't see any value in doing another year of this with the travel. Bye Nick!

There are 2 girls on Scorps national that were promoted from regional at the start of the year, but don't let the facts get in the way of your rant.

No affiliation with Scorpions but:

1) It so odd that you refer to it as "the national team". I know what you mean but this is very weird and everyone from Scorpions apparently does this.
2) You are better off leaving if you have the expectation that this shouldn't happen. When they bring players in from outside they are trying them out to see if they will fit with ECNL. They don't need to give your players "a sniff" because they already did that when you were placed last year...plus they already see your players every day. If somebody was good enough to displace a player they already would have.

I have no dog in this fight but my daughter team has played the NEFC team and they are a solid team that pays a very attractive style of soccer. Hoping they stay together for the long haul.
