why should anyone care about scrimmages? you have no idea how the coaches/teams approach a scrimmage. i make zero judgements about teams based on scrimmages, particularly when they are scrimmages within the same club. i've seen coaches trying new formations, playing kids in different positions, giving more time to players who often get less time, having goalies never punt, telling kids he/she wants them to do X, Y or Z regardless of how well it works or doesn't. because scrimmages are essentially practices...

The saddest part of all this is that it’s some dad from another club who keeps bringing it back up. Get a life dude.

How do we know NEFC is playing in the NEFC tournament? (still no list of accepted teams)

Also I see the Stars Blue 2008 are playing up in the U14. Clearly they are hiding from the competition, right?

Give it a bit more time. I think clubs are scrambling a bit. I'm not sure all the Stars ECNL teams even planned to be at the Stars event until it became clearer that March ECNL games were going to have to move.

Blue 2008 playing up i can see because they are the best 2008 team. Still don't agree with it.

SSS will be the third or fourth best 2007 team after 2007 Blue, White & maybe Aztec. Plus NEFC & Scorpions still may register. No need for SSS to play up.

Ok sure Jan. You keep believing that. FWIW Select beat Aztec DPL twice in the fall, 2-0 and 3-0. (not that it matters but the blind hatred of Select is just mind boggling)
