From the NY site- "Travelers from states that are contiguous with New York are exempt from the travel advisory"
(Yes MA is contiguous with NY. Get on the pike and head west until you see "Welcome to NY" signs)
MA sports guidance recommends but does not prohibit leaving the MA to play sports.
Upon return players and their parents would need to be tested per MA travel order. And their schools may require additional remote school time.
So if they want to there's absolutely a 100% above board way to do it

To meet many school district rules in MA the kids can't attend school for 5 days upon return, then they have to get tested and pass (which presumably they would). Others just make you quarantine - the schools are all over the place. The state rules require a test too to avoid quarantine though you could get that test in NY before you came back to shorten everything. Why do you think games are being cancelled already? Because clubs know they can't be heading off to regular season games every weekend and putting the families through quarantine and repeated testing every time.

Which number will be higher?
13 hour round trip from NEFC to Empire United.
Or
2007 NEFC margin of victory over Empire United

On the bright side with the adding of EU to the GAG, NEFC dad can brag that NEFC won by double digits. He is one of the few parents who wont care that he needed to travel 7 hours for the win but a double digit win makes NEFC look good.
