Well... they cant avoid Scorpions because they are in the same league. You are kidding yourself if you don’t think that NEFC is a constant threat in their backyard. If it wasn’t then they’d be encouraging them to join ECNL. Scaredy pants would prefer to be the big fish

If you owned Stars or Scorpions, from a pure business perspective, why would you ever want another MA club admitted to ECNL?

ECNL already has the best clubs in the country and will pick off the last few good GA clubs starting in about April (Top Hat, FC Virginia type clubs). NEFC will be on the outside looking in and will continue to lose more players to ECNL as the GA weakens by backfilling with more NPL level clubs.

Maybe if JD wasn’t so concerned about his huge salary and bonus it wouldn’t be an issue. He doesn’t want to loose players or money and that’s all it comes down to don’t kid yourself. Oh ya and his wife has a pretty nice Stars salary

Op here. Agreed, from a business standpoint its 100% the correct move. From a logistical and competitive standpoint it just wreaks of fear. I’m sure NEFC would do the same if they were in the power position.

Im going on record saying the night before Thanksgiving that NEFC dad will try mightily to try and become Stars Blue dad #2 by the spring. Its inevitable that change is coming for his daughter.

That is what is on your mind on Thanksgiving?

How about this instead. I’m thankful for the other list teams so that my kid has good teams to play against and because she has made friends with some of the girls on the other teams. Even if, God forbid, her team loses once in a while to other solid teams.

Happy Thanksgiving SSS dad! Strange post on Thanksgiving but to each your own i guess. BUT as an NEFC parent- not NEFC dad- please respectfully do not compare our clubs. We think some of your teams fight hard and are decent but as an entire club SSS lags behind. Would you like it if i compared SSS with Seacoast or Oakwood.

SSS dad- i always get on NEFC because, well they are good, and it fun to go after good teams. As far as SSS goes.... i have no idea why u compare them to NEFC? As im waiting to eat turkey i went back 25 pages on this thread and maybe 5% compare SSS with NEFC. Its mainly saying NEFC thinks they are the best- they are in the discussion- and SSS parents complaining why arent they included. Thats what i see anyway.
