I don't think there's much to differentiate between the 3 ECNL teams in MA. Performance-wise they could each beat the others on any given day - not that that really matters. Development from last year to this year isn't anywhere close to the point where you can evaluate yet given Covid. The one differentiation I agree with is coaching but we don't actually know who will be coaching these teams next year, at least on the Stars side.

0-0, 1-0, 1-0. I suspect when Blue/Scorpions play in a week we'll see a similar result and if anyone pretends they know who will have the 1 and who will have the 0 they are delusional. Blue has beaten a team that beat Scorpions and Scorpions has beaten a team that beat Blue. There is very little to differentiate these teams at this point. But the bigger point is - judging them now isn't useful.

Same on Scorpions side. EB is a great coach. Who knows next year. Hopefully if there is change, it will be NR.

Sorry, you're right. Scorpions didn't play MF. But, I suppose, MF beat CFC and CFC beat Scorpions. And Blue beat MF. But really, who cares. It's obvious these teams are performing at a similar level.

Games are competitive. Which is all that matters. Unless you are NEFC dad in which case actually playing competitive games doesn't matter. Or a Select parent in which case actually playing any games doesn't matter.

Are you a moron? First, the ECNL table isn’t updated. White & Scorpions both beat FSA.
Also, look at the PDA & CFC tournament results before you start throwing stones at White.

Except for the game that SUSA lost to EM—does that count as “finding a game”? There are 5 teams in NE ECNL that have one win right now. That’s over half of the division. Most of these teams can beat each other on any given day. That’s what a competitive league looks like.

Yes. It's hard to look at it for the partial weird season we have now but since last fall most of these teams have beaten each other AND lost to or tied each other.

Between the league games and ECNL clubs' tournaments (PDA & CFC) the MA teams have crossed paths with the best teams in the North East. Stars Blue, White & Scorpions have played some combination of PDA, SUSA, CFC, Match Fit, World Class, East Meadow & FSA. Plus the two best non-ECNL clubs in NJ (Dynamite) and CT (Ginga). You can't ask for more than that as far as I'm concerned.

SSS & NEFC could have played in either of those tournaments by the way, but chose not to.
