SUSA is a huge club and got bigger by buying Albertson Fury. They expand their player pool every year by buying up more clubs. I wouldn't be surprised if in anotehr year SUSA is basically unbeatable at this age group and younger.

Move into spaces so the midfielders can just dribble until they lose the ball or until the back just blast the ball upfield as hard as they can? Forwards can’t score if they never possess the ball.

To all the parents casting blame on other kids - if your team loses 1-0 maybe you can blame the defense for a stupid mishap or maybe you can blame the forward who missed a break away (you shouldn’t but since you seem to need to blame others at least you’d have a reason). But when you consistently lose 4-0, 3-0, 4-1, 3-1, 5-1 then the whole team is not playing well. Defending is a team concept, not just the CBs. Scoring is a team concept, not just the striker. These girls appear not to have been taught what is expected of them in their roles on the field. They do very little right tactically on a consistent basis. The days of winning through brute athletic force and individual effort are over. If they don’t play a reasonably sound tactical game in ECNL they will lose.

Agreed. SUSA will trail only PDA at the younger ages.

Funny you say that, the roster is pretty much the same as last years roster.

This SPOL team had so much potential at u11 / u12. Unfortunately the club couldn’t hold on to their star players. They lost a lot of their key core players to FC stars and have been struggling to stay relevant since.

Apparently as soon as they stopped entering as many tournaments and their rankings dropped parents couldn’t get out of the club quick enough, thinking the grass is greener on the other side.

You are a creep if you are remembering a roster of 18+ kids that are not even in your state, you really need to get some mental health counseling if you spend that much time looking at u13 rosters
