Scorpions ECNL tryouts next week for the 07's??? I thought the NL and RL added "impact" players and they were going to be so much better this year? Hmmm........

New to club soccer? Half the clubs in the state are still having “tryouts” including both my kids clubs.

Not to mention 07 Scorpions lost 1-0 to SSS last Thanksgiving. I thought 07 team was the “best” 07 team in the state

They should be better but all had some issues last year. White & Scorpions needed more scoring. Blue was unpredictable game to game and somewhat remarkably had issues getting players to show up consistently. If Stars & Scorps have sorted that out it should be interesting.

NEFC had 31 goals in 10 league games
SSS had 20 goals in 10 league games
Stars Blue had 15 in 10 league games
Scorpions had 9 goals in 8 league games
Stars White had 10 goals in 10 league games
Those numbers are a bit skewed when you consider the difference between the ECNL and pre-DA schedules. Both SSS & NEFC hung 6 goals on Oakwood in a single game.

Agreed, not even close. NEFC scored 5 goals total in 4 games last year against PDA, SUSA, Scorpions & Stars Blue.

As good as NEFC is they’d get tripped up from time to time playing an ECNL schedule week in and week out. PDA, SUSA, World Class, Scorpions, Stars Blue, Match Fit, etc.

Both teams will be #1 and #2 on anyone’s list who knows anything about soccer. Stars close behind. Three really good teams in MA which we should all be proud of.
Here is a good start for you.....NEFC U-12 and U-13 went UNDEFEATED last year against SSS. Most games weren't even close. Looks like you disappeared when called out to show some facts.
