Admittedly, the top 3-5 Stars players also would start for each of NEFC and SSS. Can we just agree that the top talent does not all play together on the same team - whether that's Stars or NEFC or SSS? It's just the dilution of talent among clubs. If you had a true state team, what ODP should be, the 18 would probably be comprised of:

    NEFC: 4
    SSS: 3
    Stars: 3
    Surf: 3
    Scorps: 2
    Aztec: 2
    SPOL: 1

this is the dumbest post around. Please explain what age group is this for? Are you a scout?? How do you know the breakdown? I'll take it that your daughter is amongst the top 18 girls right?
Prob the loud mouth dad whose daughter has been on 4th teams in the past 3 years....

I'd argue there's 7-10 girls on lower teams that would make it and just choose not to play ECNL/GA/DPL

The reality is, by and large, the top 3-4 players on each of those top teams would be THE top players on any of the "lower" teams (Liverpool, SPOL, FCUSA, Galway, etc.) Put another way, the number of "lower team" girls who would actually be in the top 18, is probably 2-3, at best. So Liverpool, FCUSA and Galway each have one girl who might be under consideration - probably accurate - but by and large it's the teams on that list who would produce the top talent - for whatever a "State" team would be. And so what if it's actually 21-24 girls in a pool of top players, the point is a valid one - all of the top teams have ELITE players but are surrounded by a lot of very good "role players," which is fine. I think that was the point - you can't say that each one of those top teams (NEFC, SSS or Stars) does not have several elite players; that there is in fact something superior about EACH of those teams. I hope no one on NEFC or Stars or SSS actually believes that they have the best 11 girls in the state. If there was a true "State" team, can we all agree that it would pull from 6-7 different teams, with the bulk coming from the higher ranked teams?

How would you make the list? Let me guess, your daughter's team would have 16 of the top 18 spots, right? And let me guess, she plays for Stars ...

You are assuming again that 'all' the top girls want to play on the above teams. One of best girls I have seen play for '07's was on a NEFC 3rd or 4th team. She may have ultimately moved to one of the top teams but at time she definitely was not.

What the f*ck is even going on? How long before we’re listing rosters of the list teams and stack ranking the girls? This is rediculous

Agreed. So wrong to comment on individual 12 and 13 year old kids on an anonymous online forum. The vast majority of parents would never put something on here that could potentially identify their kid (a few unfortunately do), but when kids are on these so-called “list” teams, nothing keeps crazy parents from posting about other people’s children. It’s awful.

Please just F off with this if it’s gotten to the point where adults are discussing individual 13 year olds. Talking a little sh*t about the list teams is fine but the idiot who started this yesterday (SSS & ODP) really needs to take a step back. Just really, really lame.

SSS parents. They and their clown of an owner are just a different breed.

Select parent here..... bozo - not 1 girl left 07 Select GAL team to go to the Scorpions. Select’s top 07 team which will compete with NEFC for the top spot in the state is back in full. Wrong information bud. You gotta love ts where obsessive/jealous parents can act tough behind a computer and write false info.

p.s. Although I do agree with this bozo's original premise the SSS could beat almost every 07 club 9 out of 10x. They are that talented!! So he/she is actually right about that.

NEFC / Stars Blue / SSS have been rated tops this whole time. Should be fun to see them compete again hopefully this summer and fall.

Agree, she typically plays up in age rather than up to GA or NPL and is one of the top 07 girls in the state. She is an example of not having to play on a name team to develop, just hope it works for her getting on college recruiters radar in the next few years.
