If NEFC and SSS don't have superior talent, which teams do? Do you not think that the top 3-5 girls on each of SSS and NEFC could make (and start for) the top Stars team or, funny, Scorpions? Admittedly, the top 3-5 Stars players also would start for each of NEFC and SSS. Can we just agree that the top talent does not all play together on the same team - whether that's Stars or NEFC or SSS? It's just the dilution of talent among clubs. So, if there is nothing superior about NEFC or SSS, is there really anything superior about Stars or Surf or Scorpions? So, really, what you're saying is that there is nothing superior about ANY team. The top girls - including the 18 above - will all play in college, many on some form of scholarship. By definition, there is something superior about each of those teams - and love/hate whatever club your daughter plays for or against, each of those clubs have some very strong positives in terms of coaching, reputation, and ability to give the girls exposure. Negatives, too, no doubt - but more positives in the whole.

There is certainly talent across Stars , SSS & NEFC. Having a state team would be great but players have to show up. ODP does attract some of the same talent we are discussing in this thread. People want to go after ODP but if you were involved — you would know that all 3 of these teams do have some of their top and the states top talent represented in the program.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

That’s sort of the point. Register , show up , try out & play. Some top players do and obviously some don’t but it’s there for everyone.
