Exactly. And those programs are Stars, Scorpions & NEFC.

When you play in a competitive league like the ECNL that can happen. Like the post says “and getting better”

As strong as that NEFC team is they too would lose to teams they are better than on paper if playing an ECNL schedule. If you play strong teams every single weekend you are going to get dinged.

Most inconsistent team out there. It’s a revolving door with this team. That’s what sets NEFC apart from the rest, they have kept the team together over the years and focused on development and not recruitment. Kudos to NEFC.

-Not an NEFC parent, not a FC Star parent

Exactly, because if you were an NEFC parent you’d know half the kids are from SPOL, GPS & SSS.

I agree with this to some extent. Lots of talented players but they were put together for the first time in the fall from a number of stars teams and other clubs - to a much more significant degree than NEFC, for example - and the coach had never coached any of them before to my knowledge. Not surprisingly, it took some time for them to figure it out. EEE, some absences at key times hurt them more than a team that had more of a consistent core would have been hurt. But the posts about them figuring it out and getting better as they went are accurate. They will be very strong this year assuming impact of new players is positive.

Lol. NEFC isn’t apart from anyone.

JB isn’t some magical coach who is going to make your little Mia a star. JB is a master of recruitment of players already developed elsewhere. If you are looking for a club and coach known for actually developing players, stars is not it. They dump their little for outside players all the time. The club is a joke. How many stars grown players on the team?
                    NEFC does this too.

The attendance needs to be more consistent across the board.

Odd problem to have at this level?
