The Ginga team won a lot of games U9-U12 but it was the worst soccer I have ever seen. Boot the ball up the field over the defenders and midfielders and see if their striker, who was at least a foot taller than anyone else on the field, could outmuscle the opposing defense. And the whole time the Ginga parents would be screaming at everyone. Their kids, opposing players, other parents. Just a total sh** show.

Don't really care. See no reason to speculate about what another family chooses to do. We're all a little soccer crazy or we wouldn't be reading this thread. The reality is both Stars ECNL teams have a great group of kids and parent groups are solid. Most of these families have been in this at a pretty high level for years and have seen all kinds come and go. If new kids come and contribute it'll be fine. Even some drama wouldn't be a particularly new thing.

Add in them pushing their opponents when the ref wasn't watching was an added bonus. They had some skilled players on their 07 team but the play was exceptionally dirty.

4! Ginga, Fury, OW, now Stars.

^^^Very accurate. There was a thread a few years ago with a parent called Ginga man (that club is loaded with crazy u-little parents) ..... swore they were the best, his kid was top talent, team was full of studs because they killed all other local u-little teams .... at U14 or so everything fell apart as it always does with the other kids catch up with size and athleticism and ginga kids are no longer above average in those departments (other kids improved and ginga players became average or less than average even compared to peers). Puberty kills so many superstar u-littles.

Yep. And who else matters in this case? A bunch of people who have no reason to care posting crap about some other family's choices and saying nasty things about a couple of 13 year olds?

So, I guess we should write off any child who played for Ginga? No need to even look at whether they are any good now?

Yup, that sounds like Ginga. Especially the parent part. Horrible people.
