I'm not sure who the players are or how good they are but I am so sick of hearing people say this! I have a 2007 and she is my youngest and have seen some players emerge as they get older, but very few of the very top end up dropping off. The best athlete from my college age daughters kindergarten soccer team is playing D1 basketball right now.

If your daughter is one of the top players enjoy it, but more importantly let her enjoy it!

Undoubtedly there are special athletes out there, but even then there's no guarantee. I think that's all people are saying. From K to college there are lots of reasons (including other sports) why the best soccer player in K is no longer the star soccer player by H.S. graduation. And what about the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best K players around your daughter's age, even in the same town?

If your daughter is one of the top players enjoy it, but more importantly let her enjoy it!
