We talk a lot about how poor she was at that age, and how the supahstahs at this age mostly left the game. She'll thank me, again, for not being "that parent".

In the meantime, continue withe your d!ck measuring contest while the game falls apart.
My friend. Since you have some much time on your hands to comment repeatedly on a thread that does not pertain to you, maybe you should come to Needham and watch what will certainly be a great 2007 final.

If you bring an up to date CORI form we will let you have some of our popsicles after the final! You have my word.

Orange slices at that age...everyone knows that ;-)

D!ck measuring contest...where you sure did make sure to mention that your D plays college, while at the same time berating others.

Here's a hint. As silly as you think we all look for talking about 07s, you look equally silly to the parents who let their kid play and moved on, instead of spending time discussing 11 year olds online years after it applied to their kid.

Keep up...I only mentioned that my daughter has had some measure of success when I was told my kid flamed out at 13. It's not something I would bring up otherwise.

Silly it may be, but as mentioned...if one parent of a quality kid learns it's about development today and not chest-puffing, then there is hope for our culture going forward.

If not, we'll continue to be impressed with a Memorial Day tournament medal and globally keep getting our azz kicked. And, that will make me sad for the game.

Or maybe we could grow soccer by learning to make it appeal to American families. Football, baseball, hockey, basketball. These kids are all allowed to win and care about winning almost from day 1. But then they play soccer and suddenly it's oh noooooo... only care about development for the first 15 years! Once 1% of you get to college teams, then you can care about winning!

Look, I'm not saying you're wrong that we should care about development. Of course. But we need to find a way to ALSO allow people to care about winning, because this is America and that's not going away. You're not going to reprogram a nation. Right now we have one group that ONLY cares about wins and another who ONLY cares about development. At 11, every other sport let's us care about winning to some degree. Soccer can't be the outlier and expect to grow. Gotta find a way to meet in the middle.

Caring about winning is spot on. Bragging about who is better at is not. Just my opinion, of course.

I mean...if they are keeping score then you should be winning. Learning to win, and how to play when losing, is part of development.

Parents bragging about it is weird.

Is it me or does it bother anyone that dicks are being measured and discussed on an 11yr subject matter thread?
                Wow

Probably just you. Actually a very common phrase on the sidelines when the bragging kicks in.

                    Yeah. It's inappropriate before U12.

Who is the stars coach out recruiting players. He's telling everyone who else he is signing to get players to leave their teams. How does the league let this krap happen? Not hiding it at all.

Like Lebron telling everyone he’s going to Miami???

Do these young ladies have baseball cards or a draft league yet?

Do they follow each other from all teams on FB?

“Yeah, I heard suzie from sss is going to wup with jessica from nefc and sally from spol is going to brazil to play with the nat’l team”

NEFC Central takes the final 3-0 over SSS, by far the top 2 teams. Not sure Select can stay at the same level when NEFC goes to the "Full" combined team at U13. Lots of talent on both.

NEFC Central takes the final 3-0 over SSS, by far the top 2 teams based on so little knowledge of the soccer landscape. Not sure Select can stay at the same level when bodies change and interests wane. Lots of talent on both which will all change within a year.

Where did stars 2007 play in NEP? They didn’t have a single team in premiership but now are playing in NPL? Their 2007s look very weak.
