This thread is hilarious. Nothing but parents who are full of insecurities. Yes, you should be worried about your daughters spot being taken. It’s u12. Some of the best players in the state will eventually make their way to replace your precious daughters. Promise you that. Enjoy the ride. Look at your roster now. I’m 2-3 years it will look very different.

NEFC has the best 2007s in the state. No debate on that one. If they stay together, they will blow any ECNL team in the northeast out of the water. Second will be SSS. FC Stars has put the first nail on the coffin by creating 4 ECNL teams. Biggest mistake they could have made. Watch and learn.

NEFC trails Aztec in the standings, and lost to them 2-0.
Liverpool, SoL, and Aztecs lead Prem divisions so far. We’ll see how it shakes out in the last few weeks. GPS tournament in May will tell the final story.

FC Stars has 2 ECNL teams, not 4. The two additional ECNL regional teams replace the NPL teams, so call them what you want, but FC Stars 2007 talent is spread across only 2 teams, which will be called Blue & White.

That’s right, ECNL regional is nothing more than a money grab. More $ and travel for their united teams who would be better served staying local. The current soccer landscape is a disaster.

The "If they stay together" is the funniest part of this. It's pretty much guaranteed that this team will break apart. They have another year, maybe two, at most. The GDA, High School/ECNL-EDP-NPL, debate hasn't even touched these girls yet. When it does, their parents will all have different ideas of what is going to be best for their development, how far they are willing to travel, how much money they are willing to spend, etc.

U12 parents are deranged.

The "If they stay together" is the funniest part of this. It's pretty much guaranteed that this team will break apart. They have another year, maybe two, at most. The GDA, High School/ECNL-EDP-NPL, debate hasn't even touched these girls yet. When it does, their parents will all have different ideas of what is going to be best for their development, how far they are willing to travel, how much money they are willing to spend, etc.

Easily 1/3 won't be playing by high school and many won't continue on at a high level. the few better players will move up the ladder and voila, the team looks nothing like it did at U12. U12 parents have no idea how extreme the funnel is during the middle school years. Combined with some flatlining developmentally, lost interest, moving to different sports etc nearly of all of it has changed by U15.

Agree they are the best, but not head and shoulders above. Their core are really talented and the rest are very good. Being together for a while helps them as a team but not brining in more talent will hurt in the long run.
