Too much drama already for a team(stars Blue) that is suppose to be building... my question is the drama play out on the field among the girls or just here on TS with the chest pumping dads ?

Great group of girls from what I see and hear. It’s too bad they don’t have a great coach as well.

The kids are so scared of making a mistake because the coach will tear them apart, they then make a mistake. Horrible way of coaching IMO. Half those girls will quit soccer at 15-16. A shame. Many of the girls have individual talent but just try to run people over. They dont play as a team. I’ve watched nefc team and they will run circles around the blue team.

And don’t call me a nefc Dad. I’m a stars Dad.

I am sure the coaches favorite 2 or 3 can dribble all day long and make mistake after mistake without the coach calling them out (and I am sure they do, every week, nearly every touch).

I don’t know about that. He just coaches by intimidation. No wonder they can’t get results.

Oh, he has his pets that have different standards, no doubt. Weirdly, they aren’t typically any better than other players on the team, but they get all kinds of leeway.

Let’s just be clear. New to the club. Everything you hear about this coach is true. He yells , he intimidates , he treats players unfairly and he tries to push his cocky , arrogant attitude onto his teams. He needs to go.

The 2 coaches of these 2 teams couldn’t be more different. You can see it in the way the kids play and interact with each other on the field.

Why FC Stars canceling home games for teams from out of state? Can’t they just play away in CT or NY?

All of those games will be rescheduled. The clubs they were scheduled to play in MA on those dates may not have field space to just make it a home game (in NY, NJ, CT) on the same date.

Those clubs all own their own spaces.

And they don’t only have ECNL teams. Often if the girls ECNL teams are playing away, the club’s boys teams (or teams that play in other leagues) are playing at home.
