Definitely white is better! Blue didn't even show today. Looks like JB wasn't invested either as he was either coaching the game behind or sitting on the bench. Blue may have some individual talent but they don't know how to pass and forwards seem to love to dribble over the end line rather than pass off for a goal. Coach better correct that or it will be a long loosing season for them!!!

This fall will answer questions about JB. He’s got talent to work with. If he can’t get this team playing better soccer it would go a long way toward proving his critics right.

GA parent here. I haven't seen Blue or White play but if what I'm reading is correct, that is, problems holding the ball too long, non-sophisticated passing patterns, coach sitting on his arse then I'm not very impressed with the so call best teams in the ECNL. Just sayin.

Did the 06 blue scrimmage the 06 white too? Or are you going off actual games in season?

Seen this play out many times. The “A” team will have the more talented players but often those kids want to hold the ball, want to show their skills more. The “second” team kids often will actually play simple and just do what the coach asks. This leads to the actual results being closer than the gap in talent between teams. I’m not an FC Stars parent so I could be wrong but this is something I’ve seen occur many times before.

Could the real difference between the teams be that one team has a coach that is invested in the team and has created a positive atmosphere where the kids are improving together as a team and the other team has a coach who attempts to coach two different teams in two different scrimmages on adjacent fields at the same time? Just asking.
