I know there's a lot of baiting on TS but in this case I am actually interested in hearing what other teams are doing at this level in the winter. The team I was referring to is my own kid's team and hasn't been doing much - which I find surprising/frustrating. I admit it is probably stupid of me to try to get any kind of useful info on TS.

If your kid is playing futsal, playing in an indoor league or even playing basketball---they are doing plenty. It's fine.

Actually just sat in the bleachers on the side of the field and played with my phone. If you know a better way to kill 2 hours on a week night in the middle of winter in Taunton, please, by all means enlighten us.

Pfftt. Not going anywhere near that place.

But, you'd be wise to find the local coffee shop or bar to keep you busy. I've got them all lined up over the eastern seaboard.

I love the game and will watch anything at anytime, but parents on the sidelines are just a distraction.

According to her mom, Talking Soccer Pennsylvania is lame and does not have a 2007 list. Her kid feels left out, so they are moving up here to get her onto one of the list teams.
