Keeping it classy... exactly as expected from an SPOL parent.

In his defense, I have to agree the girl is not nice, kind of a bully type, but if you knew the parents, you'd understand why that is. She will fit in perfectly at Stars.

So you're defending the guy who is attacking a 12 year old anonymously on the internet by attacking multiple 12 year olds (every 2007 Stars player?) anonymously on the internet?

Both Stars teams have kids from SPOL. The one my kid plays on does not have any bullies.

Yet again you ulittle parents have a lot to learn. Slamming kids will only get worse as they get older. Even if your kid is great, NT level talent, someone will slam them. Yes some adults are scumbags. If you don't like it you won't stay on TS long. Also, the worst thing you can do is try and fish for compliments for your own kid. It won't end well. Don't put a target on their backs.

              - You're welcome

You are a very wise person. Best thing I've read on TS.

Seriously. I love my kid to beyond all else and she's a very good player, but I could not imagine chest puffing like that. She'd be completely embarrassed if I acted like that.

I don’t have a kid at SPOL or Stars but it’s pretty easy to connect the dots on who is posting what here. Guy leaves SPOL for Stars, comes on here and brags about it, SPOL parents, whenever given the opportunity trash everyone and everything, including their former players.

Parents who do it are incredibly insecure, both with themselves and many times even with their kids abilities. Most times parents of real studs don't need chest puffing. all it takes is doing it once on the board and they learn their lesson.

I think you nailed it. If your kid is really good, you shouldn't need to tell everyone else as it's evident.

That’s the thing with insecurity. Sometimes the kid is that good and the parent still needs to hear it over and over. Ew.

Is this the same "game changer" who played the whole game stars got their butts kicked 6-0 by SSS? Ok dad. Sit down and shut up.

My kid has played with and against the top 2007 players in the state since U10. Four years and counting on one of the “list teams.” It’s been my experience that most of the parents (both mothers and fathers) of the top 10 players in the state at this age group (and I know or at least have chatted on the sidelines with most of them) can’t string three sentences together without talking about how great their kid is and how everyone else sucks.
