Great idea. Just as this group is hitting recruiting age, and may be able to share some actually valuable information, we should send them out to pasture. Lets keep this site what it was truly meant for: arguing about which 10 year old team can beat another 10 year old team.

Unlike other parents in the past this group (or maybe just a couple of them) still don't get it. Recruiting is the ultimate test. They're going to be full tilt crazy for the next 18 months as they see who really has the goods and who doesn't.

lol c'mon recruiting. I'd rather hear about what 9 or 10 year is dominating. These 2011 parents are so dumb. I think all of us 2007's that have been here since July 2017 NEED to blow up the 2011 and 2010 threads and take them off the rails. Those parents are batsh*t crazy! Worse than we ever were.

I’m not going to read through this whole chat since 2017 but I read a few and it sounds just like the 2010 and 2011 thread. So how many of those top 07s that were good then are still playing and where are they playing?

All of them. But they are now concentrated on 3 teams instead of spread out at 10 different clubs. Stars Blue, Scorpions & NEFC.

Lol definitely not all, it even close. Some are only playing in their HS teams.

No "top" player is choosing to do only HS. I think if they have opted for HS only already in their sophomore year, they are removing themselves from the entire conversation. They may be talented but they're clearly not into it at that level of grind so let them have fun.

I think someone asked it all the top 07s from way back still play? They're not. Nor did all so called top players back then stay at the top. Some leveled off and were passed by others.

A bunch of girls who hit early puberty and helped their clubs (even GPS!) win 3-5 years ago have hit the rut by now, and are middling HS players. Hope their parents enjoyed sinking $$$$$$ into useless pursuit of middle-school club soccer.

Why is that a waste? If their kids enjoyed playing, staying active etc who cares what the outcome is? Not everyone can be a top player. Doesn't matter how much you may want it, the nature of the athletic pyramid is that it's a pyramid, not a rectangle.
