Maybe DC shouldn't go out of his way to tell players they're replaceable during tryout time. Great work. Master motivator.

Revs have their chosen ones, as does DC.

Perhaps, but in trying to retain players to play for the ECNL, telling kids before the season ends and before tryouts that they are being moved down to the ECNL lacks some tact.

Poaching implies theft, something nefarious, as in
verb (used without object)
1. to trespass, especially on another's game preserve, in order to steal animals or to hunt.
2. to take game or fish illegally.
It isn't poaching if players are ready to move.

Yes this is true. Nobody wants to travel all over the country while still being the B team. He's waiting to tell kids that weren't ever going to make Academy right at the time where all the spots at other clubs are taken, that they have to play ECNL. If bolts put Andy Dorman and Ben Moane in charge they'd be in great shape.

Actually DC gave a very detailed explaination of DAP and ECNL process to parents. If you had questions or concerns you could have raised them then, or personally afterwards. No mysteries, no drama, nothing underhanded.
