Not talking about central. NPL stars is supposed to be the next step up from a region team.
Then ecnl/da. Why would they not want to grab some kids from their own supposedly 2nd team? Nothing against the west teams. They have some excellent kids.
If they can't promote a few from within, then they aren't doing their job to develop, no?

This is the biggest difference between NEFC and Stars. NEFC promotes from within. Stars only recruits and demotes.

I have said this a number of times. Many kids have moved up from the Stars lower teams to Ecnl,npl,da this year. If a coach does not like your kid it definitely can be tough to move up, however it does happen. Numerous kids from 04 central united/npl and 03 united/npl. Have made the step up. I do not think they do enough with individual improvement but to say kids do not move up is just false.

Clearly you are misinformed. If NEFC promotes from within like you say, then why did the just snag a girl from stars DA 03? Stars does promote from within, but keep making up stories.

The girl signed a contract with stars, made the deposit, bought the uniform kit....the got approached by NEF and ended up there.
