At U11 the costs even at bigger clubs will only be $1500-$2000. Travel is usual more local with maybe one overnight tournament in CT or NH. Will jump to $2000-$2500 once they get older with travel/tournaments depending on level and league of play. A bit more if they play anywhere above NEP.

People bragging about their free rides at Revs are shmucks looking to brag about their kids. Its not close to pertinent to 99% of the playing population.

Lol. Is that because you think most clubs don't take their "A" teams out of state or because it doesn't fit with you agenda. Time to face the fact that U11 is no longer the entry age into club soccer and that most kids on a typical U11 "A" team have probably be involved with it for at least 2-3 years if not longer.

No one said it was entry age. Only that traveling long distances at that age (U11) isn't very common nor is necessary. Although at least in NE going "out of state" doesn't mean going very far.

Unnecessary agreed, way more common than you think though. The travel is not just confined to the high school years these days.

Middle school seems more appropriate. But clearly the money train has left the station when it comes to youth sports.
