If he used it to rail against different private business matter, would that be OK?

I am just curious if you think the point applies to all private businesses, or just his. Philosophically, is it that fact that it's a business matter, or that it involves his family, that has your thong wound too tight?

What are companies to do? Rather than focus on their business and all the jobs they provide they are now stuck trying to navigate this toxic political environment and there is no escape.

What have to decide if we only want to be led by life-long politicians, or if we want to entertain an outsider's perspective.
It puts other businesses in a tight spot, if they can't run a business for fear of protesting. Where does it stop though? What's to stop anyone from protesting anything because they are (loosely or directly) tied to an official?
See Oranjina with a can of Coke? Protest.
See him eating a slice of pizza from Pizza Hut? Protest.
Gets out of a Cadillac? Protest.
Shoot...people are seriously no longer Patriots fans over this.
Where does it end?

The cynic in me thinks there will always be something else to whine about though.

The environment is toxic. Are we going to end up with red retailers and blue retailers?

So, I guess the theory is that only lifelong government employees should run for office, for fear of a conflict of interest (real or imagined)?
Should Red people start to protest Nancy Pelosi's vineyard, since she rode that wave to becoming amongst the top 1% of earners in America? Is that the direction we want to take this?
Elizabeth Warren has made over a million bucks from Harvard for a part-time teaching job. Should Red people protest that?
Unless people can separate an office-holder from their past business dealings, yes...I do fear we are going to start to have Red and Blue retailers.
