I think the Stars organization should be congratulated for the year's work. Several of their teams performed well at a high level of competition. They obviously gave their players very good training and excellent learning experiences.
I have been part of a competitive club for a long time and have watched our best teams compete with Stars teams so I am not biased toward the stars.
The best thing that we can do for our players, who are trying to progress in the game, is to treat them fairly, train them as well as we can, put them in competition that can help them grow and be honest with them.
Full marks to stars!!

Kind of reminded me of the finishing on my daughters team, pretty poor.
I assume it was the forwards and midfields fault that the PKs went in also. The Stars goalies can do no wrong. What about the 2 - 0 loss to PDA in the consolation. Were those goals the fault of the forwards?

The U16 United defense has taken its share of 'knocks' on this forum and it appears they were up to the task. Can someone who was there comment on why the offense was unable to score at Kirkwood?

I have no relationship to the Stars, but I do have a club goal keeper and a striker. The goal keeper does not have a chance to save a pk if done properly. They have to make a guess where its going and hope for the best. Or hope the shooters misplace their shot, which shouldn't happen all that often at this level! There isn't a whole lot more you can do.
No need to place blame, whats up with that?
