A variety of sources, over a dozen. The best is TDS recently, but that changes.

It looks like a majority of the D1 commits are coming from academies. Any word on the Seacoast commits so far?

I saw a slightly different trend. Mostly kids in private schools moving on to D1.

Considering that there are only 20 or so Mass DAP seniors compared to literally hundreds of soccer-playing seniors at private schools, the trend favoring DAP players going D1 is that much stronger.

There aren't "hundreds" of soccer seniors at prep schools. Stop exaggerating. The list shows that in 2016, DAP is no better a path to D1 soccer than prep school/NPL club soccer with NEFC, Stars, GPS. You can get a D1 offer without dap.

And... Most prep school/non DAP kids don't subscribe (advertise) on TDS, which is the primary source at this point. Further to this... perhaps the educational institution ranks of higher importance than the soccer program to most of these kids... Most DAP kids are on the current list... NPL still has some surprises to come.... At the end of the day, there will be more non DAP kids on the D1 list... One of the "Bolts" kids did not go through the DAP program and another has maybe a season and a half under his belt so hardly academy developed... Seacoast would struggle against top NPL. As mentioned above, let's keep it real. Good luck to all the kids.

This is by far the most pathetic post I have ever seen on this site, which is saying a lot

You are clueless, it is a challenge to make many of the D3 Teams.

Tufts and Amherst won the D3 national championship the last 2 years -- both are great schools and it would certainly be "notable" to get in and get to play there or at any of the other many top-quality D3 schools. From an education standpoint, one might get much greater value in the long run going to MIT or Williams than getting 20k per year to go D1 at UNC Wilmington and end up with far less time to focus on academics

Also, there is money. Midwest D3 school has offered my kid 88k over four years to attend and play there, leaving us to cover about 40% of the cost. And that was out of the blue -- we had not filed for financial aid yet. so there is $!

Please do not mislead. The 88k cannot be athletic money. No such thing at a D3 school. It had to have been academic or merit money.
