West MA soccer clubs

Thanks to Ryan Lavner for coming in to western Massachusetts and wreaking havoc on the entire soccer landscape here, both premier soccer and town. He is the main reason why things are the way they are. Saw an opportunity to make money at the expense of the kids out here, never cared about the kids at all from abandoning his team at state cup and abandoned his teams right up until the end. Glad to see him gone. Wish he disappear back to where he came from.

Heard this is not done and RL will have to account for his actions and financial dealings.

Who will RL have to account to? Is he teaming up with AS or not? Both of these guys have been out for themselves for the past 4 years. Pioneers and Western United both ruined by each of their exploits and now WUP struggling to hang on. It is a shame but not surprised.

Lived the pioneer life before RL and far too long after. The pioneers and western ruined themselves. He did not cause their downfall. They did nothing for the girls program for YEARS and it showed so families left. When an organization doesn't care then the parents writhing the checks will not either. They did it to themselves and lost a lot good coaches/players Along the way and now have become irrelevant. They need to own that....easy to blame

I agree with this statement. WUP cares nothing about the girls program still today and frankly I don't believe any lesson has been learned. The boys are now going to start to migrate elsewhere slowly. This club can't even keep its board members kids in their teams. If that don't speak loud and clear to parents then you deserve what you get. The sooner WUP folds the better will be the outlook on western mass

RL can not coach with NEFC as he has a noncompete in his contract. He owes Stars Central a great deal of money and could be going to court.

No no no it's everything about this club. Every running and Day to day Oporational aspect is garbage. If you all excuse yourselves the sooner the better for our youth.

WUP is barely hanging on and it is only because of the merger with Fc mass last year. Players are leaving in flocks, no good coaches. Once the older teams age out, they will be left with nothing. Please do this community a favor, and close your doors for good.

Ripped off? As in you were offered a service and then you didn't receive that service? Outside of an ax to grind how were you ripped off at WUP. I am sure I reaching here expecting a well thought out comment but I'll give it a shot.
