What league/level are the NEFC West boys going to compete? I'm hearing anything from Academy to NPL.

They are in NEP and not Academy or NPL. You can't have multiple academy teams that's not how it works. They don't have an NPL spot either

Same for girls. Several of the NEFC west will be playing in NEC level, they took anyone they could get and have some very weak teams. Can't wait to see how this will play out.

Funny, sounds like just about every premier organization. Don't fool yourself into thinking that any one organization has a higher morale code than the other.

AS will tell you anything you want to hear. Unless specifically stated in the contract, don't believe it.

where are is he going to get enough boys to play NPL? He wasn't able to steal every player he wanted from WUP. Crock of ****e. Snake oil salesman is what he is.

Some players he was able to steal from WUP were given free rides. AS followers are just a bunch of suckers.

I asked at tryouts and they said, No, they will be in NEP. And half the kids trying out came from the WUP NPL's team.

What the recent shake up in the west did (thanks to RL) is move the kids back two years. The parents that do not know the current soccer landscape will see the light soon enough come spring or sooner. The ones that know and hope to have a shot at any collage coach look at their kid have fled. It's a real shame what the west has become.

Don't kid yourself. This happens in Boston and CT and I am sure other states as well. It's just the soccer landscape as it exists today. No rules no regulations. It will implode at some point and that's when you will start seeing some organization.

AS had an ax to grind but he did a good job this year of puttin a hurting on WUP. Question now is how does WUP recover from this. I think in the long run they will be fine, but only time will tell.

College coaches would not be looking in the west. The shake up was not due to any one person. It started with USS - first with the age changes last year and now with th start of DA. Both changes made to help USSF identify that .001% player. Not good changes for soccer landscape on a whole in our country

I could not agree with this statement more.

You nailed it. There needs to be some governing body with rules and regulations, otherwise what you see happening in the west part of the state will be a common occurrence everywhere.
