With that said, WUP uses parents to coach the majority of their teams and does pretty much the same thing when it comes to games. I do not agree with parents coaching at premier soccer level. What exactly are you paying so much money for?
Exactly. The WM clubs are doing the girls a major disservice.

Just waiting for NEFC to branch out to Western Mass. I heard there is talk of FC Boston trying to come out this way as well.

No their parents are doing their kids a disservice. You go to a restaurant and the food is not good, what do you do? Seems like you keeping going back.

Are you really going to sit here and say that we haven't had parent coaches and our practices don't get cancelled

There are 2 girls teams in this age group, but my child is on neither, he is on the boys team.

Our coach has not missed a game.

Before someone else corrects me, it might be the u13 girls age group, and not the u14, that has 2 teams. A classmate of my son is on one of them.

It's not "now", it has been all along. You were the one making assumptions, not I. Go to Roots on Thursday, I'll be the guy with the yellow Jeep. You have an issue with your coach, and think all teams are like that, wake up, they are not!

Funny how now it's just the 2003 girls team we are talking about, when before you were saying it about the entire club. I suggest you go speak to your coach, or switch clubs.

Or just maybe it's because I can only attest to MY OWN experience and I have a daughter in the 03 group. I can only speculate what I hear from other age groups

Considering taking my daughter to WUP winter tryouts based on the recommendation from a coworker. He says they are the best choice in the area but he is biased. She has been playing travel and time to take it to the next level. Yay or nay? Any input would be appreciated.

It couldn't hurt to check it out, see how it goes, and get a sense of what you (and, especially, your daughter) think of the coach and the team. My kids had a good experience at WUP, but you need to see for yourself. Stars West might be a good option as well, but you would want to vet the coach and the team the same way you would WUP.

Hopefully it's not another 2003 birth year. We got plenty. Thank you but no thank you.
