Premier soccer is such a money grab right now that until parents smarten up there is little to no chance that this happens. The landscape of youth soccer is a monster right now. Western Mass has some great players and would truly benefit from one organization that actually cares about the kids development. WUP is great but has left many parents annoyed at their politics and in fighting. And if you're not from Ludlow they typically are not your first choice. Might be a couple years before they pick up the pieces. They actually have some people that care there. GPS is huge but an organization that is well put together and produces results. NEFC definitely has a black cloud but could change some things. Local MAPLE clubs(Western Mass FC, Mutiny, Storm, Euro) seem to all mean well they just don't have the clout they once used to have. Who knows. Just mind blowing and all of this chaos is not helping anyone out especially the kids.

I was at Monday's tryouts and yes we were part of NEFC with RL. RL was told to go to his own field and have Stars West tryouts by coaches from Stars Central. On Monday, we were told that Stars West would be a club. At last nights practice, RL said he was leaving SW and they were folding. He can't coach our team anymore and we should go to NEFC.
