Who gets the u13 (or U## for that matter) 2015-16 points, the new 2003 or 2002 team for 2016-17 season? It doesn't seem consistent to my assessment.

Might have been that way in the past, but its definitely not true this year. Our team inherited the points of a younger team that literally moved up one player to our roster. Points will take a good while to level off correctly.

The club can choose, but generally need to have at least 6 players carry over from the prior team.

Any club that know what there doing can consolidate / move points from multiple defunct teams to a brand new team.

A team is nothing but a registration number. I have seen teams that the coach does the same age group year after (U 12) all players move up yet he keeps the points.
Best way to find out is teams GS game history, some will be all over the place not in order of age.
