quantity, use, consume, possess, buy/sell, or give away any beverage containing

devices); marijuana (including synthetic); steroids; or any controlled substance.

Yes, there is carryover from offenses that occurred during prior seasons, but the total number of games scheduled to be missed did not occur.

But the way this rule is written any new violations that happen between the end of the school year and the first tryout/practice of the fall season (i.e. summer) are not subject to MIAA rules.
